Warner Bros. may send off George Miller’s modern ‚Mad Max‘ saga not with a trilogy, but an HBO Max series.
After five movies, the Mad Max franchise may take a trip to the glorious land of television.
A new video from Mad Max Bible alleges an HBO Max show will be the final franchise project for creator George Miller, and may in fact be the long-awaited third of his desired trilogy: The Wasteland, set a year before 2015’s Fury Road. Miller has been open about wanting to tell Max and Furiosa’s stories across three films, with the final one once again putting Tom Hardy in the role as brooding post-apocalyptic hero.
