Some of our favorite shows return this week, plus movies, reality shows, and lots more content from Disney+ and Hulu.
It’s only a matter of time until Disney+ and Hulu are combined into a single app. Until then, Disney brings you the ultra-popular Marvel and Star Wars franchises, while Hulu covers a more adult-oriented niche with tons of movies and shows from network partners.
Between the two services, they release a ton of content every week, so I’ll make it easy for you by picking three worthwhile new entries. September rolls on with the return of Futurama, High Potential, and other popular shows. There’s also a ton of movies, reality TV and more to see. The full list of TV shows and movies coming to the streaming services is below. This Week on Hulu and Disney+: PCMag’s Picks I Don’t Understand You (Hulu, Sept. 12)
This black comedy flew under the radar last year, but it’s a fun one. Nick Kroll and Andrew Rannells star as a gay couple on vacation in Italy, trying to repair their fractured relationship before adopting a baby. Unfortunately for everybody involved, they don’t speak the language, and when a series of miscommunications ends up in murder, they need to not kill each other.
Cast: Nick Kroll, Andrew Rannells, Amanda Seyfried
