Capcom Is Confident Resident Evil Requiem Will Avoid Monster Hunter Wilds' PC Issues

Capcom assures fans that Resident Evil Requiem won’t suffer the same fate as Monster Hunter Wilds on PC as its much-anticipated release draws closer.
Capcom says Resident Evil Requiem will fare better on PC than Monster Hunter Wilds has. Leaks and theories about the newest RE installment have pushed hype to tremendous heights, but the state of another major release in one of Capcom’s key franchises may have some fans worried. When Resident Evil Requiem launches in February 2026, its developer is confident it will run smoothly on PC.
Since beginning development sometime in 2019, Resident Evil Requiem has dramatically changed course, going through several experimental iterations from an open-world game to an online co-op shooter. Despite those changes, Requiem ultimately arced back to more of a classic Resident Evil experience, and it’s already made a big enough impression to earn over one million wishlists. Now, as all eyes turn toward its fast-approaching release, the team wants to assure all those fans that they won’t be disappointed.
