Go back in time with a Peter Jackson-remastered Beatles documentary, drive through Australia with Chris Hemsworth, and more this week.
Disney+ and Hulu now have a combined login, so you can access Hulu either in its own app or as a Disney+ channel. The Hulu app will get shut down sometime next year. Until then, Disney brings you the ultra-popular Marvel and Star Wars franchises, while Hulu covers a more adult-oriented niche with loads of movies and shows from network partners.
The two services release a ton of content every week, so I’ll make it easy for you by picking three worthwhile new entries. As we head towards Thanksgiving, we’ve got a restored Beatles documentary series, a road trip with Chris Hemsworth, and a super-creepy Norwegian horror flick. The full list of TV shows and movies coming to the streaming services is below. This Week on Hulu and Disney+: PCMag’s Picks Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip To Remember (Nov. 24, Disney+)
These Hemsworth boys seem like real sweeties, and when they’re not playing Marvel superheroes, they do cool stuff like this. With his father, Craig, suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, Chris packs him in a car and takes him on a drive around their native Australia, using the landscape to help him recover his fading memories. A Road Trip To Remember is a unique way to draw attention to the disease and the power of memory for healing.
