Google Photos adds templates, a redesigned video editor, music, and text tools to make creating and editing highlight videos faster and easier on Android and iOS.
Google Photos is making it easier to create and edit videos directly inside the app, with new tools focused on speed, simplicity, and customization. Users can still create a highlight video by heading to the Create tab and selecting “highlight video,” then choosing the photos and videos they want. Google Photos automatically combines them into a single video.
The update adds five key features designed to improve the overall editing experience.
First, Google Photos is introducing ready-made templates, rolling out on Android. These templates come with preset layouts that include built-in music, text, and automatic cuts that are synced to a soundtrack.
