“Take a look at the first wireless earphones from OnePlus”
When Apple introduced the iPhone 7 duo a couple of years ago, the Cupertino giant ditched the 3.5mm audio socket and heralded the era of wireless audio. The Airpods became an iconic product, leading the path for many more truly wireless earphones. However, most of these earphones are quite expensive and have average battery life. OnePlus however, aims to disrupt this segment, the same way it has done with smartphones – offering a ton of features at a not-so-high price. Launched alongside the OnePlus 6 ( first impressions), the Bullets Wireless will set you back by Rs 3,999 and will be made available in India soon.
The Bullets Wireless feature a neckband style design. The pair features 9.2mm audio drivers and energy tubes to enhance the audio experience. The in-line remote offers the ability to change tracks, increase or decrease the volume as well as trigger the Google Assistant. The earphones can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.1 and also support Qualcomm’s AptX technology to deliver HD audio. While we couldn’t test the sound quality during our limited time with the Bullets Wireless, some of the features did catch our attention. Prime among them is the fact that earpieces are magnetic, and snapping them together turns them off, and they switch on as soon as you pull them apart. The Chinese upstart is also bringing its popular Dash Charge technology to the earphones, which means that you can get up to five hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging. The pair supports the latest Type-C port for charging.
We’ll be bringing you an in-depth review of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless, but for now, let’s take a look at them from different angles.
