As the country celebrates the end of Ramadan and enjoys Eid-Ul-Fitr, BSNL has introduced a new plan to add to the celebrations. The state-owned telecom operator has launched an all-new Eid Mubarak STV pack worth Rs 786, as it does every year. However, thanks to the Jio effect, the new Eid pack offers substantially more benefits as compared to the Rs 786 plan from the last year.
The new prepaid tariff from the company comes with a validity of 150 days and can be availed within 15 days starting from June 12th till June 26th. Users opting for this plan will be entitled to 2GB of 3G / 4G data per day, totalling 300GB of data over the duration of the validity. The new pack will also deliver unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS messages per day. This means that the users will be able to send a total of 15,000 SMSes during the duration of the plan. Additionally, the free calls are valid across India, including Delhi and Mumbai circles, where MTNL operates.
In comparison, last year’s Rs 786 pack offered a total of 3GB data for 90 days and Rs 786 worth of talk time. There were no SMS benefits either in the previous plan.
