“Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is expected to be unveiled by the South Korean company on August 9th”
Just late last month, Samsung teased the official unveiling of the upcoming Galaxy Note series flagship, dubbed Galaxy Note 9, at the brand’s Unpacked event to be held on August 9th. Interestingly, while we are still a month away from the unveiling, the official support pages for the handset have reportedly gone live in certain regions around the world.
The support pages for a Samsung handset with model number SM-N960F/DS, expected to be the Galaxy Note 9, have gone live in some European countries including France, Norway, and Denmark. Even though the support pages do not explicitly mention ‘Galaxy Note 9’ anywhere, the model number suggests that the company will be unveiling the handset next month at its event.
Talking about the leaked specs and features, the Galaxy Note 9 has been tipped to sport a QHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Just like every other flagship from the company in recent years, the handset is expected to be offered in two processor variants – Snapdragon 845 and Exynos 9810. In terms of storage and memory, Samsung is likely to make the smartphone available in three configurations – 6GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 256GB and 8GB RAM + 512GB. The handset might pack a bump in terms of optics and is expected to feature a dual camera module on the rear panel along with the fingerprint scanner just below, like the Galaxy S9 ( review) and S9+ ( review). Finally, the smartphone is expected to house a beefy 4,000mAh battery.
As these details are all based on leaks and rumours, we would like to advise you to take this information with a pinch of salt. As and when anything goes official, we will update you right away.
