The height of his poll numbers comes after receiving much criticism for his conduct during a joint summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in July, along with the zero-tolerance policy for immigrant families caught crossing the border illegally.
Even in the face of much public scrutiny, a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll released July 22 found Trump still had a 45 percent approval rating.
Big reasons for his approval numbers include big gains in the manufacturing sector and record-low unemployment .
The Washington Times further reported that a recent Harvard/Harris poll noted a 10-point rise in support for Trump among voters who are Hispanic, with the positive economic milestones being the reason for the surge.
