Huawei has started teasing the launch of the Mate 20 Pro flagship in India. The phone will be launched soon exclusively on Amazon India.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro went official at an event in London yesterday, alongside the Mate 20, Mate 20 X, and Mate 20 RS Porsche Design. Amongst the lot, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is the company’s most powerful smartphone to date, and seems to be heading to Indian shores soon.
Just a few hours after the unveiling of the new Mate series devices, the teaser page for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro has appeared on Amazon India. Also, Huawei took to Twitter to announce that the smartphone will be coming soon to India. While the e-commerce portal hasn’t revealed when the phone will be up for grabs, there’s a “notify me” option on the page. The handset could be available exclusively on Amazon India, though the standard #AmazonExclusive tag is not present on the dedicated web page. To recap the specs, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro flaunts an under-display fingerprint sensor as well as a 3D face unlock module for additional security. The smartphone gets a 6.39-inch OLED display bearing a resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels. Powering the flagship is an in-house Kirin 980 SoC and there are two NPUs to deliver enhanced imaging results. The phone sports three cameras at the rear in 40MP + 20MP + 8MP configuration, and a 25MP front shooter.
As for the other features, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Software-wise, the smartphone boots Android 9 Pie out of the box. The device packed with a 4,200mAh battery with 40-watt power supply, which can go from zero to 70 percent in just 30 minutes. The flagship is also equipped with 18W wireless charging, and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Talking about the pricing, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro has been priced at €1,049 (~Rs 89,000) for its base 6GB RAM variant, but there’s no word regarding the pricing of the higher-end model as of now. The smartphone will be initially available in the UK starting November 16th.
