During an interview with Fox News, President Trump gave an extremely confident answer when asked to grade his presidential performance.
President Donald Trump gave a very confident answer when asked to grade his first two years in office.
During an interview on Sunday with Fox News, Trump cited many of his administration’s accomplishments and was very candid when he graded his performance.
“I would give myself, I would — look, I hate to do it, but I will do it, I would give myself an A-plus, is that enough? Can I go higher than that?” said Trump.
While there any many things that the Trump administration has been criticized for, there have also been many factors that have improved.
Trump claimed one reason for the high grade is negotiations with North Korea.
“I think North Korea’s been very tough because you know we were very close. When I took that over — President [Barack] Obama right in those two chairs, we sat and talked and he said that’s by far the biggest problem that this country has. And I think we had real decision as to which way to go on North Korea and certainly at least so far I’m very happy with the way we went.”
He also pointed out the healthy economy since being in office.
“I think I’m doing a great job. We have the best economy we’ve ever had,” Trump said. “We’re doing really well.”
The Trump Administration has addressed many long-ignored issues, including military pay. Recently, President Trump announced his support for the bipartisan bill on prison reform.
