A leaked Geekbench screenshot has pointed at the Nokia 8, HMD Global’s first flagship smartphone, to be running on Android 9.0 Pie. This has sparked speculations that the smartphone, launched in 2017, is slated to receive the update to the latest generation of Android OS, soon. HMD Global ‘s older generation smartphones such as the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 ( review), Nokia 6 ( review) and Nokia 8 were already confirmed to receive the latest Android update by product chief, Juho Sarvikas.
