As is typically the fassion, OnePlus has just announced that the Android 11 Beta for its two newest smartphones is available for download and installation. If you happen to own an unlocked OnePlus 8 or Oneplus 8 Pro, you can install the Android 11 Beta on your device. Unfortunately, the T-Mobile and Verizon variants of the phone are not eligible for the installation at this time since the devices include carrier-specific software that is not compatible with the Beta. If you want to see what Android 11 has in store for yourself on your OnePlus 8 smartphone, follow the instruction below to get the software up and running on your device. Just note that not all features will be working as expected and it may be too buggy to be used as a daily driver. If ay any point you’d like to revert back to the original software build for your OnePlus 8, you can always uninstall the Android 11 Beta. NOTE: Installing the Android 11 Beta on your OnePlus 8 or Oneplus 8 Pro will completely erase all the data fro your phone.
