Sony’s next-generation console, the PlayStation 5, will launch sometime this holiday. While we still don’t have an official release date or price for the new console, Sony and third-party game publishers have confirmed a long list of games coming to PS5 this year and beyond. Many familiar PlayStation franchises will continue on PlayStation 5, including Ratchet & Clank, Gran Turismo, and Horizon. And many current-generation games coming to PlayStation 4 (and other platforms) will be available on PS5, with developers like CD Projekt Red and Ubisoft releasing free updates to PS4 games to take advantage of the more powerful PS5. There are still many unknowns when it comes to PS5 games, particularly around how games released on PS4 will carry over to the next-generation PlayStation.
