So you won’t be needing to leave the app anymore
Twitter has announced a new series of features that the company is currently working on for mobile devices, including in-app YouTube video playing support. Right now, when someone shares a YouTube link, if you want to watch it, clicking the video opens it in a separate page on YouTube. Needless to say, this means that you’re actually leaving Twitter, and in some cases, it means you’re not returning to the app. For Twitter, this isn’t the most convenient approach, and it needs to be changed. This is why the company has started the work on a new way to watch YouTube videos, all right within the mobile apps on Android and iPhone.
