Ubisoft’s open-world FPS is still coming later this year
Ubisoft has just announced an important event for Far Cry fans. On May 28, the French publisher and developer will reveal gameplay footage of Far Cry 6, the next installment in its shooter series. Although it’s been delayed a couple of times, the next game in the Far Cry franchise will be released this year, Ubisoft confirmed. The Far Cry franchise has evolved to become an open-world first-person shooter, and the upcoming installment promises to plunge players into the heart of a modern-day guerrilla revolution set in Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time under the oppressive rule of President Antón Castillo (played by Giancarlo Esposito).
