Two concerts will be held in September to honor the late Foo Fighters member and raise money for charity.
Rock band Foo Fighters and Paramount+ on Wednesday announced plans to broadcast one of the two upcoming tribute concerts honoring the group’s drummer, Taylor Hawkins, who passed away on March 25.
The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will take place on September 3 and September 27 to acknowledge his contributions to music. The shows will also raise money for Music Support and MusiCares, two charities chosen by the Hawkins family.
The September 3 show will take place in London’s Wembley Stadium and will feature an all-star lineup. The musicians announced for that concert include Travis Barker; James Gang; Brian Johnson (AC/DC); Kesha; Liam Gallagher; Chrissie Hynde (Pretenders); John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin); Geddy Lee (Rush); Wolfgang Van Halen; and members of Queen.
