Americans trust Republicans to handle the economy over Democrats by record-high margins, new polling indicates.
The data from a Gallup poll conducted last month show that 53 percent of those asked said the GOP does „a better job of keeping the country prosperous,“ while just 39 percent said the same about Democrats. The numbers mark the highest advantage for Republicans on the question since 1991.
Economic issues are sinking President Joe Biden’s overall approval rating: Americans disapprove of his economic policies 56 percent to 24 percent, according to polling by Investor’s Business Daily.
