Pokemon GO developers at Niantic have decided to bring back the Winter Holiday event for 2023 this December. The Winter Holiday 2023 event is divided into two parts, and only Part 1 is live currently. Players can catch the Terra Whale Pokemon, Cetoddle, and Cetitanis, along with new costumed monsters like Pikachu wearing holiday attire and Raichu wearing holiday attire for the first time during the event.
The Winter Holiday 2023 (Part 1) starts on Monday, December 18, at 10 AM and runs for a week before ending on Monday, December 25, at 10 AM Local Time. Pokemon GO trainers can participate in multiple Research quests during the event, including Field Research and numerous event-exclusive Timed Research quests. Regarding the Field Research, completing the tasks rewards players with featured Pokemon encounters and valuable in-game items.
