Disney+’s January 2024 lineup includes all episodes of Marvel’s Echo, the first X-Men movie, and the last episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 1.
New shows might be scarce on Disney+ in 2024, between corporate budget cutbacks and the aftermath of the twin Hollywood strikes. But in January 2024, Disney+ is acting like it has Marvel shows to spare by dumping every single episode of Echo on the same day. That’s not a programming move that inspires a lot of confidence in the next MCU series.
However, the X-Men ’97 animated series may be coming as soon as next month. That could be why the first-ever X-Men movie is returning to Disney+ on January 5. Although, chances are good that most of you were never aware that it left in the first place. Also coming this month are the remaining episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 1, and a nature special called A Real Bug’s Life, which plays off of the insects featured in Pixar’s A Bug’s Life.
