Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is set to play in Saturday night’s home game against the Sacramento Kings despite right ankle soreness, one night after scoring a career-high 73 points against the Atlanta Hawks.
The Mavericks listed Doncic as questionable earlier Saturday. But Dallas coach Jason Kidd said prior to the contest that Doncic was available to play.
Doncic’s point total tied for the fourth highest in NBA history. Only Wilt Chamberlain (twice) and Kobe Bryant (once) scored more points in a game than Doncic.
