Senator Elizabeth Warren said that the vice president „has led the charge in order to fight back against the Republicans that want a nationwide abortion ban.“
Senator Elizabeth Warren, a Massachusetts Democrat, said on Saturday that Vice President Kamala Harris is „ready to step up“ amid recent concerns within the Democratic Party about President Joe Biden’s ability to win reelection this year.
During an Instagram Live on Friday morning, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Democrat, warned that some within the party who want Biden to exit the presidential race also want Harris off the party’s ticket.

The congresswoman’s comments come as Biden is facing mounting pressure to withdraw from the race after his debate performance last month magnified concerns about his age and ability to beat former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, in November.
More than two dozen congressional Democrats have urged Biden to step aside. However, Biden has continued to vow to remain in the race.
In an appearance on MSNBC’s The Weekend on Saturday, Warren responded to Ocasio-Cortez’s warning by doubling down that Harris is „ready to step up“ if Biden decides to step back.
„Joe Biden is our nominee. As I have said before he has a really big decision to make.
