There’s no doubt that the superstar’s arrival at the Kansas City Chiefs‘ season opener on Thursday, September 5, nearly broke the internet. From her unwavering support of boyfriend Travis Kelce to her much-revered fit, the 14-time Grammy winner’s attendance was nearly more important — and more discussed — than the Chiefs‘ 27-20 defeat over the Baltimore Ravens.
Some of those discussions, of course, were about Swift’s ensemble, which was made up of a matching denim set — and, most notably — a pair of thigh-high cherry red boots. While some fans were obsessed with the footwear solely because the boots were the focal point of Swift’s outfit, others quickly seemed to put 2+2 together: Were the oxblood boots really an Easter egg?
Dozens of Swifties took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to draw comparisons to the singer-songwriter’s boots at the Chiefs game to the ones she wore in her „Look What You Made Me Do“ music video.
