Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered was showcased at State of Play today, officially launching in October on PC and PlayStation 5.
It’s no surprise whatsoever that Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered was going to be announced, and as expected, it was announced today during the State of Play. The remaster will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC, with the game launching on 31 October 2024. Those who already own the original PlayStation 4 title will be able to get an upgrade for $9.99.
At the moment, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered isn’t listed on the Steam store, despite the release date of the game being so close.
Compared to The Last of Us remasters, there seems to be more substance to this update. While the main focus is that the graphics have been updated to match Forbidden West, over ten hours of dialogue has been re-recorded. In addition, facial animations have been improved to provide an extra element of realism.
