Kamel Ahmad Jawad of Michigan died Tuesday while visiting family in Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, his daughter, Nadine Jawad, said in a lengthy Instagram post late Wednesday.
Jawad — who lived in Dearborn, just outside Detroit — had been on the phone with his daughter when he suddenly fell from the impact of a nearby airstrike, she said.
