Chinese smartphone maker; ZTE Corp. is joining the likes of Apple, Google, Huawei, LG in manufacturing wearables, as the company is reportedly working on its first smartwatch to run Android Wear, dubbed Quartz which is said to come with Bluetooth certification under the model number ZW10, Wi-Fi as well as 3G connectivity, allowing for data access when it’s not paired to a smartphone as well as taking calls on your wrist.
The specs for the watch haven’t yet been mentioned/seen anywhere or when it will/expected to be launched.
According to VentureBeat , ZTE showed off two watches; Venus 1 and Venus 2 at Mobile World Congress last year, although they were considered primarily activity trackers that lack the robustness of a full wearable platform.
