Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said at a press conference that he was „optimistic“ about dialogue with Trump.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Friday that he and U. S. President Donald Trump would discuss trade and economic issues at a working lunch and he was „optimistic“ there would be good results from the dialogue.
Abe said he was „fully aware“ of Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership multilateral trade accord. But he said Japan and the United States had agreed on a new framework for economic dialogue.
