Beam co-founder Matt Salsamendi said today that the company hasn’t had the time to launch an app for Microsoft’s mobile platform, Windows 10 Mobile, despite the app being for the UWP.
When asked why Beam’s Universal Windows Platform app isn’t available on Windows 10 Mobile, co-founder Matt Salsamendi said that the company simply hasn’t had the time. It has an „ambitious roadmap“, so the good news is that he’s not denying that there may be one planned.
If you’re unfamiliar, Beam is a video game live-streaming service that Microsoft bought back in August. Since that time, Microsoft has confirmed that the service will be built into Windows 10, as well as Xbox One consoles. In fact, the feature is already in preview, including both built-in streaming and the Beam app.
