A large majority of Americans worry about full-scale war with North Korea and most question President Trump’s ability to handle such a situation, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll released Tuesday.
The poll found 66 percent said they consider North Korea a „serious threat“ to the U. S. — a 12 percent rise from a 2005 version of the same poll.
And 74 percent are concerned about the possibility of a full-scale war, with 39 percent „very“ concerned.
The results are mostly split along party lines, with 81 percent of Republicans saying they trust Trump at least „a good amount“ to handle a North Korean conflict, while just 11 percent of Democrats say the same.
