Workers at a nuclear power plant in Fukushima, Japan discovered an unexploded ground in a parking lot. Police are currently investigating if it’s explosive.
Employees at the Fukushima Power Plant in Japan discovered a blast from the past when they found an unexploded bomb buried in a parking lot Thursday.
Workers found the in a parking lot of Fukushima No. 1 Power Plant and near reactors which previously leaked radioactive material from the 2011 tsunami that lead to the release of radioactive material. The bomb is a remnant of WWII most likely made in America, reported Newsweek Thursday. The bomb is 33 inches long with a 6-inch diameter, according to a statement from Tokyo Power Electric Company.
