PORT ST. LUCIE — A fire severely damaged a home in Port St. Lucie late Saturday morning.
The St. Lucie County Fire District said the blaze at the home in the 200 block of Northwest Bayshore Boulveard started in the attic, district spokeswoman Brenda Stokes said. No cause has been determined. 911 calls were made about 11: 23 a.m.
The Treasure Coast chapter of the American Red Cross has reached out to the two adults who lived in the home, Stokes said. The residents also have two dogs.
