Even baby monitors and fish tanks can stop it working properly.
So if you’ve noticed that Netflix is buffering a lot or websites are slow to load on your gadgets, you might want to do a bit of interior re-shuffling.
Brits appear to be suffering in silence when it comes to rubbish web speeds, with some buying new devices rather than fixing the core of the problem, research by the Post Office found.
Always make sure your router is plugged into the master socket rather than an extension cable so it works faster.
