OnePlus 5T Sandstone White variant is listed on JD.com in China ahead of launch. The newer model will come in only 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
We all know that OnePlus is all set to launch the OnePlus 5T Sandstone on January 5. The brand started teasing it a few days ago. Now, the device is listed on JD.com in China days ahead of its launch. It will come in Sandstone White finish, and bookings will begin from 10 AM in the country. This new variant resembles the recently announced Star Wars themed variant but without any Star Wars branding logo on its back.
Going by the phone’s early listing, we can be pretty sure that it will come only with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will retain all the specifications of the OnePlus 5T, including a 6.01-inch Optic AMOLED screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and thin bezels, Snapdragon 835 chipset, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based OxygenOS. It will have a dual rear-facing camera setup consisting of a 16-megapixel sensor and a 20-megapixel sensor, both featuring f/1.7 aperture. There will be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and the phone will come packed with a 3300mAh battery with support for Dash Charge.
A few days ago, OnePlus had also introduced the Lava Red colour variant of the OnePlus 5T exclusively in only China. However, rumours claim that the brand is bringing it to India soon and that it might launch in the country on the Republic Day i.e January 26th. Recently, OnePlus has also rolled out the first Android 8.0 Oreo beta build for the OnePlus 5T, bringing Oreo features to the smartphone. The device could receive the stable update later this month or by the first week of February 2018.
Apart, from this, OnePlus also rolled out the Face Unlock feature to the OnePlus 5 a few days ago. The Face Unlock feature is expected to hit the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T with a software update. It’s good of OnePlus to release the Face Unlock feature to phones that were launched last year.
