Amazon has said that it will create 5,000 new jobs in the United Kingdom by the end of 2017. Around 1,500 of the jobs will be technical roles with Amazon’s total workforce in the UK rising to 24,000.
By the end of this year, Amazon says it will have created 5,000 new jobs in the UK. Technical roles will make up a 1,500 of the 5,000 new jobs while others will be working at three fulfilment centres which are expected to open this year.
