MAPLEGROVE TWP., MI — A 27-year-old woman was killed early Tuesday morning after her vehicle struck a concrete culvert in a ditch and ejected her from the vehicle, police say.
The crash was reported around 2: 30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, in the 18000 block of Bueche Road in southern Saginaw County near the Shiawassee and Genesee county lines, Kaiser said.
A resident in the area called police saying they heard a crash, and officers arrived to find an unoccupied vehicle with heavy damage in a ditch, Kaiser said.
After a search, troopers found Lassin’s body, he said.
Police are still trying to determine if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash, Kaiser said. He said Lassin was travelling home from work when the crash occurred.
