Sunday’s announcement marks the beginning of the second round of voting.
The public has spoken in ArtPrize 2017. Sunday afternoon, the Final 20 entries in the public vote were revealed, with five finalists each in the 2-D, 3-D, installation and time-based categories.
The announcement officially kicks off the second round of voting, which stretches from 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1 to 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5. ArtPrize added a new wrinkle for 2017, allowing both the public and jury to vote from a single pool of the 20 public finalists and 20 juried finalists.
