When they’re not in colorful costumes, makeup, and tattoos, there are a lot of Oscar-nominated winners and stars underneath all that superhero attire.

The cast of ” Black Panther ” are clad in gorgeous headdresses, gowns, ornate makeup, and warrior gear. Many of them look red carpet ready in the film.
Some of them wore wigs and spent hours in the makeup chair to be transformed for Marvel’s latest superhero movie.

She’s supposed to help her son transition smoothly into the role of a king, but finds herself up against unexpected odds when Kilmonger comes to town.
The 59-year-old actress has been in “American Horror Story.” She’ll be in this summer’s next “Mission: Impossible” movie.
He also takes care of the garden which houses the herb that gives the Black Panther his powers.
Whitaker was in Disney’s standalone “Star Wars” movie, “Rogue One.”
He was a producer on “Fruitvale Station,” which also featured Michael B. Jordan and was directed by Ryan Coogler (“Black Panther”).
Killmonger is a former mercenary who marks each life he’s ever taken on his body.
Jordan grew up a comic fan and always wanted to play Black Panther on screen. This is pretty close.
The character was first introduced in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
Serkis has performed the motion capture for many performances ranging from Gollum in “The Lord of the Rings” franchise to Snoke in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
He shows up in “Black Panther” tracking down Ulysses Klaue.
You may have seen Freeman in the popular BBC “Sherlock” series starring another Marvel superhero actor, Benedict Cumberbatch.
