Multiple reports in the past have indicated that Apple is working on the second-gen variant of the compact iPhone SE ( review) smartphone. Most recently, a report had suggested that the upcoming iPhone SE 2 will be a ‘Made in India’ offering. Now today, a hands-on video of the alleged iPhone SE 2 has been leaked on the interwebs, which has revealed a few details regarding its design.
The latest leaked video shows off the purported iPhone SE 2 in white with a glass back panel. The design of the handset doesn’t seem to be much different from its predecessor, which in turn is similar to the iPhone 4 line up. The phone’s volume rocker and the ring / silent key seem to be placed on the left side. While it’s not visible in the video, the power button of the phone is expected to be placed on top. Notably, while the latest iPhone models have ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack, the alleged iPhone SE 2 in the video appears to be continuing offering it. Sadly, there’s no way to confirm the authenticity of this video, so we advise our readers to take it with a grain of salt.
As per the earlier reports, the iPhone SE 2 will flaunt a compact display measuring between 4 to 4.2-inches. The phone is said to be powered by a quad-core Apple A10 processor, aided by 2GB of RAM. The device is expected to come in 32GB and 128GB storage variants, and is said to be fuelled by the latest iOS version. A 1,700mAh battery is rumoured to keep the things running.
