Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything. #JustDoIt

I asked people on Twitter, “Was it smart for Nike to make Colin Kaepernick the face of its new “Just Do It” campaign?” Over 10,500 people voted, and 69 percent of voters thought it wasn’t a great idea.

Of course, people aren’t pleased with Nike’s decision! It’s a massive slap in the face to NFL fans and Americans who respect the flag everywhere! What the hell was Nike thinking? (RELATED: NIKE MAKES MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT COLIN KAEPERNICK. NFL FANS WON’T BE HAPPY)
Nike is one of the biggest names in sports and football, and Kaepernick’s brand, in the eyes of NFL fans, is absolutely toxic. It’s not even up for debate. A majority of fans have been polled in support of making players on the field stand for the anthem.
I have no idea what Nike was thinking when they made this decision. Maybe they know something we all don’t. I don’t have a damn clue.
Here’s what I do know for sure. Kaepernick is not a star in the NFL anymore, he wore socks depicting police officers as pigs, he defended Cuban dictator Fidel Castro and he refused to stand on his two feet for our flag. That’s about as bad as it gets.
I wouldn’t be shocked one bit if this blows up in Nike’s face. Make sure to sound off in the comments with your thoughts. I think most of you will agree with me.
