Michelle Obama is a hot commodity across the pond.
Brits have been waiting hours in line to buy tickets to the former First Lady’s talk in London with some being resold online for over $90,000.
Obama is set to discuss her new memoir “Becoming” on December 3 at London’s Royal Festival at Southbank Centre.
Since tickets went on sale Thursday morning, the venue’s 2,700-seat capacity couldn’t keep up with demand. An estimated 50,000 people were waiting in line outside the venue, The Guardian reported, with many complaining on Twitter they were unable to nab tickets.

“I am 50,000 deep in the queue for Michelle Obama tickets at The Southbank Centre and feeling hopeful,” Lucy Pasha-Robinson also wrote .
A Southbank Centre rep told BBC that because of “extreme demand for this event, unfortunately, there will be people who are disappointed.”

The Southbank Centre said tickets sold through unauthorized third-party sites would be canceled.
“We have asked Viagogo to remove the tickets available on their site,” the venue tweeted . “Tickets bought from unauthorized third parties will be canceled and invalid for entry.”
Michelle Obama will kick off her nationwide book tour in the US on Tuesday. In August, The Post reported that Obama fans were freaking out at the sky-high ticket prices, which went up to $3,000 for VIP seats.
