The enthusiast-class memory brand and product lines are dead.
Micron has today announced that it will no longer sell the enthusiast-class memory products marketed under the Crucial Ballistix brand name. It means no new Crucial Ballistix, Crucial Ballistix MAX, or Crucial Ballistix MAX RGB products will be offered beyond remaining stocks of the DDR4 RAM sticks. Although no clear explanation has been forthcoming as to why the Ballistix name is being dropped, Micron said the Crucial memory and storage ranges are set to expand.
