Former One Direction member Zayn Malik just announced his summer and fall 2026 ‘Konnakol World Tour,’ which includes a concert at Buffalo, NY’s KeyBank Center on Nov. 7.
2026 is shaping up to be quite a year for Directioners.
After One Direction bandmates Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles announced tours, Zayn Malik has joined the fray.
The “PILLOWTALK” singer just shared that he’s going to play arenas all over North America, South America, Mexico, and the UK on his ‘KONNAKOL World Tour.’
As of now, there is no New York City date on the itinerary but the 33-year-old West Yorkshire native will get close when he performs at Philadelphia, PA’s Xfinity Mobile Arena on Sunday, July 19 and Buffalo, NY’s KeyBank Arena on Saturday, Nov. 7.
This run, Malik’s first-ever “headline arena & stadium tour” according to his Instagram, comes in support of his upcoming fifth studio album, which shares a name with the tour.
“‘Konnakol’ in its definition is the act of creating percussive sounds with one’s voice but what it means to me lies somewhere much deeper,” Zayn shared about the album, which has a South Asian snow leopard on the cover.
“It is a sound that holds the reverberation of a time before words existed. I have always drawn on my heritage for inspiration since I first started making my own music – this album is a development of that understanding, knowing more now than ever, who I am, where I come from and where I intend to go.”
These concerts follow the popular singer’s recent Las Vegas residency. While this tour will likely be a bit different, he typically performed 18-20 songs per Sin City gig including a few songs that have yet to be released, according to Set List FM.
“From the moment the singer took the stage, it was clear he wasn’t catering to casual concertgoers looking to sing along with classic hits: there were no superstar duets, no string of top-streamed singles (except for the obvious closer, “Pillowtalk”), and no nods to One Direction,” Variety wrote in a review of his opening night gig.
