Switch won't support Virtual Console at launch, instead focuses on indie titles

With a week to go, Nintendo has announced some new details about the Switch console and its online component. Unfortunately, the Switch will launch without Virtual Console support.
The Switch is almost here and Nintendo has finally shed some light about its online platform and what will arrive on launch day.
Unfortunately, those that were hoping for an abundance of Virtual Console titles from Nintendo’s backlog of classics will be sorely disappointed. The firm has officially stated that the Switch will not have virtual console support on launch but will instead offer a variety of different titles from indie developers. While there are plans to have 60 indie titles to arrive throughout the year, the console will launch with three: FAST RMX, Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment , and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove.
