The Sony Xperia XA Dual SIM models also receiving the update
Sony Mobile has recently updated the Xperia support page with the first two models to get the major Android 7.0 Nougat update, replacing the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system that most of Sony’s Xperia devices are shipping with these days. And it looks like both Xperia XA and Xperia XA Dual SIM are getting Android 7.0.
The update was already confirmed by some Sony Xperia XA users over at the XDA-Developers Android Forums, who reported that Sony Mobile released firmware version 33.3. A.0.127 for the two Xperia XA models, which bring Android 7.0 Nougat. « Installation file is much smaller than Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it looks perfect for as. I am downloading now, then i will install it and test it,  » says Jozinek.
Among the improvements brought by the new Android 7.0 Nougat update to Sony Xperia XA and Xperia XA Dual SIM users, we can mention a much-improved camera, multi-window support, and all of May 2017’s security patches. The XDA user is also reporting that the update will free up to 1GB of space on your device compared to the space used by Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The update also adds a new version of the Xperia Home application. He also made a video and a few screenshots that you can enjoy below, saying the his Sony Xperia XA smartphone is now a lot faster than before, though the user interface wasn’t changed all that much and it looks almost the same as it looked with Android 6.0. You can join the discussion on the XDA forums if you have trouble updating.
