Today, Apple seeded the fifth iterations of its iOS 10.3.3 and macOS 10.12.6 Sierra betas to developers. As usual, there are no new front-facing features included in the new builds.
Today, Apple released the fifth developer beta builds of iOS 10.3.3 and macOS 10.12.6 Sierra. The news comes less than a week after the last ones were made available. Of course, as the version numbers indicate, there are no new front-facing features included in these updates. Instead, they focus on bug fixes and security improvements.
The release notes haven’t changed either, as the macOS 10.12.6 notes don’t say anything that’s specific to this update. The iOS 10.3.3 changelog still has the same notes and known issues, which have to do with managed and shared devices, openURL, SOS, and WebKit.
Obviously, if you’re looking for something that’s more heavy on new features, you’re probably already playing around with the iOS 11 and macOS 10.13 High Sierra betas. Those will launch in September, although there’s a public beta for iOS 11 available now, with macOS coming soon.
It really shouldn’t be long before iOS 10.3.3 and macOS 10.12.6 Sierra are made available to the general public, as the frequency of builds is increasing. Hopefully, we’ll see them next week.
