Chloe Lattanzi trumpeted her support for her mother with an uplifting Instagram post on her private account, according to People, a day after the « Grease » star revealed she’s fighting the disease.
« My mom and best friend is going to be fine!” Lattanzi wrote Wednesday.
« Cancer is the disease of our generation and it is part of my and my mother’s quest to beat this insidious monster, » she wrote.

Lattanzi added that Newton-John, 68, is using cannabidiol oil as a part of her treatment. Cancer.com says cannabidiol « can help treat seizures, can reduce anxiety and paranoia, and can counteract the ‘high’ caused by THC. »
« We both love you all, and anyone fighting this disease you can beat it, » Lattanzi continued. « Look for natural remedies as well as what modern medicine can offer. My mom is so powerful she will beat this in no time. All my love to you. And I wish you health, wealth and happiness. »
Newton-John revealed on Tuesday that she was battling breast cancer in a statement, in which she also canceled her upcoming concert performances in June. That announcement stated she’ll undergo photon radiation therapy, in addition to seeking « natural wellness therapies. »
Newton-John previously beat breast cancer after being diagnosed for the first time in 1992.
