Jerry Seinfeld denied Kesha’s three requests for a hug during a very awkward exchange on the red carpet on Monday night.

She approached him while he was discussing meditation with Tommy McFly of DC’s 94.7 Fresh FM, who later shared the clip on Twitter.
‘I’m Kesha I love you so much, can I give you a hug?’ Kesha asked at the Washington, DC event.
‘No thanks, ‘ Seinfeld replied.
She tried two more times, but his reply remained the same and she quickly ran off in embarrassment.
‘I don’t who that was, ‘ Seinfeld admitted, before McFly filled him in.
‘Well I wish her all the best, ‘ he laughed, as the name clearly didn’t register with him either.
The benefit gala was hosted by Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
Other guests included Jay Leno, Katie Couric and Margaret Cho.
Kesha eventually did get a consolation hug from fellow musician Ben Folds, however.
She posted as gushing fan pic of the two cosying up, which she described as an ‘honor and a recurring dream come true’.
