A bunch of no-good programmers on Reddit have nothing better to do with their time than to try and one-up their peers in the task of creating the worst, most annoying, and least intuitive volume slider they can think of. So, they’ve come up with a number of interesting concepts that’ll ensure you’ll want to pull out your hair before you’ll try to increase the volume.
It all started when a Redditor uploaded the following idea for a volume slider and then dared others to create the ‘best’ volume slider:
