According to the report, Morning Joe beat its 6 a.m. CNN competitor, « New Day,  » for the ninth straight quarter, marking its largest ratings win. The show’s total viewer delivery of 1 million viewers in the second quarter of 2017 marked a quarterly record for the network, the report noted.
MSNBC has also seen its overall ratings on the rise, beating out Fox News for weekday night ratings in the 25-54 demographic, thanks to the popularity of network host Rachel Maddow, reports The Hill .
