It looks like one of Lenovo’s next handsets could be a mid-range handset offering a dual lens rear camera. The G5S Plus has appeared in a new leak with a larger display and improved camera setup.
Lenovo announced the Moto G5 and G5 Plus back in February at Mobile World Congress 2017. While both handsets offered a great balance between price and performance, where it really stood out compared its predecessor was the use of metal on the chassis, giving it a premium feel.
While the G5 Plus is a pretty good piece of hardware for $230, it appears that Motorola wants to build on that platform to offer an experience that’s just a little bit better. While a majority of the specifications won’t change, like its Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 1080p screen resolution, the unannounced and newly leaked G5S Plus will come with a slightly larger 5.5-inch display and also offer a dual lens camera on the rear.
Much like the competition, the new handset will come with color and monochrome sensors on the back, both coming in at 13MP. The front-facing camera will also see a slight bump, going from 5MP to 8MP. Unfortunately, a price wasn’t mentioned in the new leak, but all could be revealed on July 25, when Lenovo is set to hold an event in New York.
